Bar Tender is a staple for aperitivo in Milan, in piazza Morbegno, Turro area. You can drink and eat well even on a budget: a rich buffet with first courses, main courses, vegetables, and desserts, with hot dishes coming out all evening: spaghetti alle vongole, fried fish, freshly baked focaccia. Well-made cocktails, a wide selection of beers, and that little square that vaguely resembles a corner of Paris in the summer. At peak times it gets crowded and finding a spot can be difficult, but it remains one of those places where you end up chatting until late without even realizing it. Open until late every day, it's a classic fixed stop for an aperitivo with friends in the north-east Milan area.
