Pora Cà is special starting from its location. It's practically in the middle of greenery, directly on the Adda, surrounded by fields and with a huge garden that in summer becomes one of the best parts of the venue. More than being a few minutes from Cassano, it almost feels like you've ended up out of town. The place has existed since 1967 and has retained much of that old river pub soul. Wood, fireplace, all different tables and a deliberately rustic, almost cabin-like atmosphere. The food mood is also very traditional. Polenta, scarpinocc, roasts, shank, meat and Bergamo dishes that often change depending on the evening. In recent years, they also work a lot with fixed menus and dedicated events, especially on weekends. The brewery part remains important. The public is very mixed and the atmosphere remains super informal. Tables of friends, families, locals and people who come from outside specifically for the location. In summer, you sit under the trees, sometimes there are also evenings with music, while in winter the fireplace and interiors make everything much more like a refuge.
