Nomads is one of those pubs that seem to have deliberately remained out of time. Wood, warm atmosphere, rock music and a very simple setting, almost like an old tavern rather than a place built to look good in photos. People mostly come in the evening and often stay until late. The place closes at 3 am and this is an important part of its character: it's one of those places that become even more interesting when the evening has already started for a few hours. There's plenty of choice for drinks including beers, gins, whiskies and other spirits. The gin selection is often mentioned in reviews, as is the rock, hard rock and metal music that accompanies almost the entire evening without turning the place into a club. The food is also very pub-like: hamburgers, sandwiches, piadine, fried food and generous portions of chips. Stuff to order at the table while you continue to drink. The clientele is quite diverse and the mood is very informal. Groups of friends, regulars and people who even arrive late just for a drink. The staff is part of the place's identity: reviews often mention that bar feeling where after a while it feels like you know everyone.
