La Zattera is one of the easiest kiosks on the lake in Desenzano. It's practically on the beach, with outdoor tables, a view of Lake Garda, and a very simple setup. During the day it remains quiet, but it's from aperitif time onwards that it really fills up. People come mainly for spritzes, cocktails, beers, and something quick to eat, with the sunset in front and a predominantly young crowd. More of a lakeside kiosk than a beach club, and that's precisely its beauty. No formal atmosphere, dress code, or overly formal service: the mood is very relaxed, and especially in summer, many people circulate, including groups of friends, couples, and girls arriving directly from the beach.
