Altaripa plays a lot on its location. It's directly on the lake in Rivoltella, with large windows, a terrace, and a view that completely changes the mood of the place, especially at sunset. There's also a private dock, so you can even arrive directly by boat. It starts with aperitivo and dinner, in a refined and decidedly more elegant setting compared to the average venues on Lake Garda. Sophisticated cuisine, cocktails, low lighting, and music that initially remains quite discreet. Then, as the evening progresses, everything changes. After dinner, Altaripa brings out its more nightlife side. DJ sets take over, the music gets louder, and the crowd tends to stay, even just for drinks and to hang out until late. Below the restaurant, there's also The Club, a proper space dedicated to the night, darker, more intimate, and with a decidedly club-like setup. Here, the mood is less elegant aperitivo and more a well-executed evening: well-arranged tables, groups of friends, couples, and a generally more elegant crowd who arrive already knowing that it probably won't all end with dinner. Even the club entrance is more selective compared to the classic open after-dinner. Music is an important part of the venue, not just background noise. DJ sets, more prominent bass, and a dance floor make the transition from restaurant to club quite natural: upstairs you dine by the lake, downstairs you continue the evening. Altaripa is therefore one of those places where you can do practically everything without moving: sunset aperitivo, dinner, first drink, and then club. More of a dinner party than a classic restaurant.
